Everything you need to know about PricePulse

How pricing monitoring works, what's included in the free plan, and how to get the most out of the extension.

What is PricePulse?

PricePulse is a Chrome extension and web dashboard that monitors SaaS competitor pricing pages and alerts you the moment anything changes — plan names, prices, or new tiers. Free tier covers 3 pages; Pro ($12/mo or $99/yr) is unlimited.

How often are pricing pages checked?

PricePulse re-checks every tracked pricing page at least once every 24 hours. Pro users receive instant alerts within minutes of a change being detected; Free users receive a daily digest summary.

How accurate is the pricing data?

Data is sourced directly from each tool's public pricing page — no manual entry, no third-party aggregators. The extension reads the live page the same way a browser does. Because pricing pages occasionally have A/B tests or geo-specific content, a small number of reads may reflect a variant; we flag structural changes (not minor copy tweaks) to reduce noise.

How do price change alerts work?

When PricePulse detects a change on a tracked page it generates a diff summary — lines added, removed, or modified across plan names, prices, and features. Free users receive a daily digest email. Pro users receive an instant email alert, with optional Slack or webhook delivery.

Is PricePulse free?

Yes — PricePulse has a free tier that lets you track up to 3 pricing pages with daily digest alerts and 30-day change history. Pro ($12/mo or $99/yr) removes the 3-page limit, adds instant alerts, unlimited history, Slack/webhook notifications, and early access to new features.

Which SaaS tools does PricePulse track?

PricePulse currently has built-in support for 20+ top SaaS pricing pages including Notion, Linear, Figma, Vercel, Slack, Zoom, Airtable, ClickUp, Monday, Asana, Supabase, GitHub, Replit, Cursor, PostHog, Webflow, Framer, Loom, Retool, and more. You can also track any public pricing URL — not just the pre-built list. See all tracked tools →

Can I track a tool that isn't on the pre-built list?

Yes. Install the Chrome extension, visit any pricing page, and click the PricePulse icon to start tracking it. The extension captures the current state and monitors it going forward. Pre-built integrations give richer structured diffs; custom URLs fall back to full-page comparison.

How do I submit a tool for the public tracking list?

You can track any URL yourself immediately using the extension. To request that a tool be added to the curated public price-history list (with structured tier data and historical timeline), install PricePulse, start tracking the tool, and email the URL to the team via the MoatStack contact page. Popular requests are prioritised.
